Lifespan of Dinan suspension?

Looking at buying a '00 Dinan 540i. Has the full Dinan suspension (shocks, springs, sway bars, camber plates) but the car has 85k miles on it and the dealer is telling me the suspension is showing signs of wear and will need to be replaced soon. Any idea what the expected lifespan of the shocks/springs & bushings are? I'm trying to find out more info like when it was installed and what exactly is showing wear.

Unless it's been abused it should last much longer than that... besides I don't think it was installed as soon as the car was bought by the first person. Check other things on the car for signs of abuse as well.

Or maybe the dealer wants to rip you off.
