I lost the front plate and its mounting bracket as the entire assembly is held on by a slim snap-on section of bumper trim. No doubt cause by the car-wash, but they'll never admit it happened at their place. I've since noticed a few other 5-Series with the plate and braket missing. Looks like a bad design to me. Anyone else have feedback on this topic as I'll no doubt be doing battle with the dealer over the replacement part cost!
