I have lost my clock Display on my dash of My 528i e28 1985 BMW.
Just stopped on the way home from Trianning, I have been using my Front fog lamp quite a bit and have just installed a new idle air valve,
The display on the Clock can been seen during the Day if i look very closley but during the night its not displaying...
Not sure were to start.
I have tryied to adjust the dimmer control on the dash lights and turn lamps on & off but no difference.
Well i havn`t looked at the fuse panel as of yet but i am thinking that the clocks LED power supply has lost a ground from the common rail of the clocks display...
Could anyone say that they have had similar problems?
I would rather go straight to the fault then pull things apart to find that i have achieved how to dismantel my near perfect dash board.
I Do not at the moment have Mechanical Repair manual with Diagrams so im looking at things very simply as i need to repair them...
Faulty Clock?
Faulty Fuse?
Loose Wire?
Ignition Switch Acc Relay?
Note: Everything else is working a per Normal . Its getting colder here Australia and the Heater has been on a fair bit.
No clock, no good.
