Just Purchased 2001 530i.. Few Questions?

Well I am now a proud owner of a 530i and I love it. I was a previous VW owner for many years.

The car I bought has 48,xxx miles on it. It is lowered with some springs and has 19 inch wheels. Don't know what kind they are but I will get pics up. It has the sports package I guess because it has Xenons.

My questions are this..

1. I can tell that the rear struts are bad. What brand do you suggest to replace with. Again the car is lowered about an 1.25 inches..

2. One of the fog lights is out. How do I change that bulb?

3. This car did not come with an owners manual. What is the service schedule like for preventative maintanace?


I will try and get some pics up. It is silver with black leather. The 19's are a 10 spoke design that are high polished with a nice lip and are wearing 275's at the rear.

Again I love this car and I was a regular on the VW forums i.e. VWvortex and VWfixx.
