just got 2007 530xi have some problems help!

hi everyone this is my first bmw and i love it. i need help on some issues im haveing with the car it has 82000 miles on it. this am and every time i start the car i get a some what big cloud of blue and white smoke out of tail pipe. the other problem i am haven is some times when i press the gass hard it feels like its miss firen but then i put it in manual trans mode and it stops am i have a tranmission problem? thanks for all the help!

Its very possible that it could be missfiring, or running rich. Do you have the check engine light on?

I recommend getting the OBD system scanned for codes. If their is an issue such as a misfire a code would be stored in the computer. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. Once you know the codes (if any) it will be much easier to diagnose the problem.

no engine light is on now , it did come on when the problem was happening but when i shifted the car into manual mode out of auto it seemed to fix itself and drove ok

Have you switched back to auto mode, and has it reoccurred?

Did you get the car scanned for codes? Just because theirs no CEL doesnt mean a code hasnt been stored.

Check your plugs. Make sure their not fouled. That would indicate possible oil in the cylinders

Blue and white smoke at cold start is a sign of your CCV going south.
