Just bought a 1997 528i - BMW Forum

Hey gang,

I just sold my 1995 325ic and got a 1997 528i. I am loving this car so far. I'll post a couple of pics soon. I just have a couple of questions for you guys.

1. What are the best lights to upgrade to? I would like angel eyes and clear tails. I have the boring old lights now with orange indicators.

2. What are the best looking rims on a 5 series (e39)? Right now I have the M5 rims, but they are really beat up and it looks as if someone tried to paint them. Otherwise these would look ok. I'll have to get new rims though. Any other nice looking rims I should consider looking into? I want 18".

I would appreciate any input you have.

I like those M5 wheels nesta.
Only concern is whether they are good quality replicas.
Poor quality ones could cause ride problems and balancing might not solve the issues.

Definatley let us know about those rims... I've tossed the idea around my head a few times and if you have any input to share on the actual quality of those replicas, I might grab a set sometime soon.

I will post pics and give my opinion of the wheels once I get them on. I should have them by next week. I beileve winters97E39 bought his wheels from this same store. They are suppose to high quality according to the company that sells them. They have great feedback on ebay as well.

I just ready to get them on my new 528i..... Lovin this car

I'll admit, it does look good.

It would look even better with a little drop.

So how much does each wheel+tire weigh???

Thanks... I think they weighed 51 lbs each.
