Ipod Adapter that is not OEM for E60

Hi.

To install the ipod kit at the dealer is about 700 dollars and to me that is just ABSURD.

Are there any adapter that are not OEM and would work with my 2006 525i?

I dont care about the playlist showing up on my screen, I can control it fine from the Ipod itself.

Maybe an AUX adapter is available?

Please let me know any info.

Thanks!

If you have an aux jack on your stereo, there are adapters to connect your iPod.

I would look at radio/electronics stores. But you may be able to order one off the Apple web site.

If you are not too concerned with audio quality, you can even get a wireless FM modulator.
