IAT Location E34 535i

Hi
Does a 1989 535i E34 have an IAT (Inlet Air Temperature sensor)? If yes, where is it located?
Thanks
Chris

Have you tried Google for MAF (mass airflow sensor)? It really amounts the the same thing.

It's inside the air flow meter. When you take off the rubber boot that connects the air filter housing to the air flow meter, it's the black thing sticking up in front of the door to the AFM.
