I'm thinking of getting a E34 535I, but they're is little info I can find on them. I want to know base numbers more then anything (all that I find seem to not match up well with one another)
Also, are they're any problem points for the car? It would be auto since it'll be a daily driver and my girlfreind will end up useing it as much as me.
Where can I find parts for it? I'll get the Turner chip for it, but other then that I cant find much. Headers, catback, intake, cross drilled rotors, shocks and springs just real basic things. Like I said, it'll be a daily driver, so I'm not looking to set land speed records in it.
Does anyone have a idea of how much it would cost to get a 535i to around 300 bhp?
I know I can do it to a latter 525i with a turbo kit for less then $4000, but I'd rather just be able to keep the larger motor and do N/A work more slowly over time so I dont have to dump such a large sum of money all at once
Also, does the Conforti chip really add 43 hp ? I've trust Turner Sports, but that seems like one hell of a jump to me.

chip, 19 lb mustang gt injectors, intake and exhaust .... that's about 2 grand right there and you still wont be at your target.
a chip wont add 43 hp... no chip will. 30 max... but more like 15-20 in reality.
