The new found power in the 540 is absolutely amazing! Sheer, raw power in every gear. The bulk of the power is from 3k to 5.5k, so it is all usable power. As the dyno shows, my car is now putting down on average 358 RWHP and 342 TQ. I did have some better runs where I was putting down 362 WHP, but the TQ was about the same. This is with the car having a stock exhaust and everything. When I had Dinan's stage 2 software and CAI, it was putting down 254 RWHP and 301 TQ. For the price, I don't think you can beat the gains of the VF Engineering kit. It uses a Vortech SQ2 supercharger, VF's rotomilled plastic ducting and cnc'd billet brackets, larger injectors, running at 7 lbs of boost. The entire kit retails for $6k + install, which is a bargain when you compare other leading companies s/c kits to VF's. For those of you considering a supercharger, but didn't want to spend $10k to $15k, take a look VF's set up. No, I am not a sales person for VF, just a happy customer.
