If your car has more than 90-100K miles (I assume so), then I suggest doing a
COMPLETE COOLING SYSTEM OVERHAUL for a peace of your mind.
Thank You Very Much... I Guess I Have A Lot Of Work Ahead Of Me ..this Weekend...lol, And Yes I Got It With 100k, I Bought It To The Dealership And They Told Me That I Needed A Ihka Unit.. And Some Lower Arm Brushings.. And That Was It.
1. M5 rear sway bar (about $110 from your dealer if they're any good at all)
2. Infinity 1011T tweeters (E-Z direct replacement for your existing tweeters behind your rearview mirrors, and will improve your treble response 500%)
3. OBD-II scanner or Peake Research tool (whichever fits a 2000 528) so you can read your own engine trouble codes and reset your own maintenance minder.
4. Two-volume Bentley Service manual (about $110 from Amazon)
5. Internet shortcuts to: autohausAZ.com, alloemautoparts.com, and getcoolparts.com.
6. Trunk cargo net (can't live without it!)
7. Axxis Deluxe Plus brake pads to cut down on brake dust on your wheels.
OK, I'll stop there...

Don't forget the muffler! It makes a big difference.
I have the tri-flo from bavauto.com and happy with the results. My car has the V8. I'm not sure how it will sound on smaller engines though.
