6-speed is an unknown quantity at this point
The fan for the HVAC turns itself on to full speed when I turn the car on and it can't be slowed down even by lowering the fan speed manually. I have a 2000 540i with dual automatic climate controls. Any ideas on what the problem might be? Thanx.

you need to replace the final stage resistor.

i have a 94 530 with the same problem. i purchased a new resistor, but where is it in the dash? i've torn the whole dash apart trying to find it.
