How to remove rear bumper on 525i Touring - BMW Forum

ghead Hi, I need to remove the rear bumper so i can install PDC sensors.
I need instructions how this is done, thanks. Mike.

remove plastic trim from bumper . bumper held in place by 4 nuts.remove nuts and carefully slide bumper back.

After removal a special attention must be paid to the GAP between the bumper and the body; Some car have uneven gaps as a result of parking between two cars or simply others bumping into yours while parking so this gap can be controlled/adjusted by
the metal track that the bumper sets on. The bumper can be adjusted by this metal bracket and track.
