hi there can any1 help me with ma old 525td. it overheated after lying in minus11 temp. left it 4 2 days then it was ok. now it gets slightly hotter when i go faster and cools right down when i slow down.
yeah generallly when you over heat in cold wheather, its due to Low coolant levels, or a poor antifreeze/water mix. Being as now its all pretty much pre-mix, chances are the coolant is low.
Then negative is finding out WHY your low, if there is a leak on a hose, or worse.

thanks for that. the coolant is spot on was a tad weak but sorted that. hohum
