I'm thinking about a used 530i. However, prices seem to be extremely high. For example, one 2003, plain-vanilla 530i with Automatic and 20,000 miles is selling for $44,000 here in Western Washington.
I can buy a brand new 530i with Premium pack, sport pack and cold weather pack for $52,000.
I know that BMW's are pricey and keep their value, but is this normal? Any ideas why?
I found the same thing when I was shopping for a 3 series in Jan. The used models were so close in price to the new models there was no point in buying used...so I didn't.
