Is there a way to get my foglights AND high beams to come on at the same time? So that when i hit my high beams my foglights dont automatically turn off? e34 please

i dont think there is a simple way, unless you want to mess with light control module or whatever it's called.
plus, it would be poinless. cops would own you and people would want to run you off the road for having 6 lights on. if you want to upgrade, get some Euro Smiley Elipsoids (eBay- seen them as low as 160 for the set).
i never have my fog lights on...looks stupid when i see people driving around with them on. (sorry if someone is offended...didnt mean to, just saying what i think) If you ever just put your parking lights on and then the foglights, you will see that they project the light the same way as low beams; only a bit shorter. They really dont improve your visibility at all.
As far as the high beams, only times I use them is when I flash them at people, or when I am on a backroad and there is nobody around.

Um, back to the point... that is interesting about fog lights being off when high-beams are on. I just tested that on my recently purchased 1990 BMW 535i (E34/M30) and it all turns on! Fog lights didn' turn off when the high-beams were on. But it doesn't matter because with the high-beams on the fog lights didn't really help. Also I am planning to do a HID upgrade, using the Mecca Tune 8300k HID conversion kit (which has the exact look and quality of the newer 2001 and up BMW 5-series), so again fog lights are totally useless. This is one of the things I miss on my old Mercedes since their fog lights are far much better and brighter and has a yellowish hue that actually cuts through all that thick fog...
