High Beams and Brakes

I have the weirdest thing happening. When my lights are on and I release the brakes, my high beams turn on. I have to manually turn them off everytime I release the brakes. Imagine how annoying that is. The workaround for now is when I also have the fog lights on, the high beams do not come at brake release. I still want to fix this but even the BMW auth. repair shop hasn't seen this before. Is this an electrical problem and should I be concerned?

thats....odd...definatley check for an electrical short or a ground problem...it could lead to other problems later on, so I would be slightly concerned (ie. no lights, turn signals working intermitantly, winshield wipers possessed by satan...)
