Hi - I'm new here and just got my 1st BMW

I don't have the owner's manual, I've read the onlline manual but it doesn't have my answer so I thought I can get some help from here :lol:

I'm a bit confused about the light switch on my car. There are 2 light switch dials sitting on the left and right hand side of the dash board.

Looks like these ...

I understand the first position for the right hand side switch is for parking and 2nd is for low beam. I also understand the first position for the left hand switch is for fog. What I don't understands is the 2nd and 3rd position on the left switch.

your pictures arent working, but if i had to guess, one of the switches probably makes the lights turn on automatically

and i dont know what kind of car you have, or if its the 5 series, but do the 5 series angel eyes come on with a switch or just with the parking lights probably?
