help is it worth it?

i am thinking about buying a 1995 530i it needs a water pump and a cv joint. it also has 140,000 miles on it the body is good and it has a nice exhaust system. is it worth 1000.00?

its $1000.00 the body is good no damage it just needs some small repairs here and there. the driver door does not open from the inside so i need a new cable that connects the handle to the lock.some audio stuff

The V8's take a lot of attention when the milage gets up there. For $1000, I would buy it, fix it, and sell it......

Dont worry about the mileage, V8's are bullet proof so to speak 140,000 just run in !!

You european fellas didn't have the nikasil issues....so if it's a UK 540, its a good buy....if it's US spec, be aware of gremlins.

its us specs. i also need to find the cable that goes from the driver door handle to the lock so it can open from the inside. does anyone know where i can find that?

any car that runs is worth a thousand, It doesn't matter what it is. If it doesn't have the service records and a clean carfax, forget about it.
