Had my son wash my 95 525 yesterday and this morning it wouldn't start. It cranks but sounds a little hesitant. Not sure if it's possible to get anything wet with a garden hose, and am not sure where to start looking. Any advice would be most appreciated!

Could have got water down in the spark plug holes, I'd check for that and I'd also check to see if the DME (engine module) got wet. Its under the black cover on the pass side rear of the engine compartment. The cover comes off by removing 4 phillips head screws.
