Hi everyone after replacing the vanos and all the hoses on my 528i 2000 i have a check engine light + EML and codes P0120,P1542,P1510,P1580,and P1765. My question is do i have to replace my Throttle Body and if i do is it just plug and play no extra programming. i have read about a Bmw Program called INPA/ediabas do i need to reprogram the new throttle body once installed if this is the problem. iam going to clean the throttle body and clean all the electrical contacts tommorow and see if this works if not i guess i need a new throttle body and advice is appreciated thank's guys keep up the good work
Check that its not just an intake air leak on the engine side of the Air Flow Sensor.
Is there any chance that the hoses weren't connected to the right places, dislodged or missed totally?
Hay Brettski thanks for answering but the hose that you are talking about are the air flow meter hoses? i just got these codes as soon as i replaced my CCV and all the hoses any suggestions?
