You might need to provide the year of your car or other pertinent info.
My 91 535i has screws located behind two little doors on either side on the face plate that swing open. Turning the screws releases the mechanism on the sides of the radio and allows it to slide out.
But your car, depending on the year could be completly different.
I saw some photos last PM about removing a C pillar??? to check for loose parts that affect reception - forgot to mark it and can't find it .... Any ideas? Anyone?
Ok - removed C pillar, back seat, consol, glove box, certain dash parts and stereo. (Only broke 1 clip ) Lots of connections to work with but I am looking for where the AM antenna connects into the back window. I believe I found the FM antenna connection in the stereo (pulled it out- got fuzz...) but can't find where it ends up to check connections. I really just want AM reception and will add a booster if needed or a whole additional antenna. Some help PLEEEEEASE!
