Help please 518 not starting on the key

Hi there I have a 518i 96 and the other day the kids were messing around with the elecy windows, afterwards it wouldn't start by turning the key. I thought it was the engine fuse, checked them all out and the wire one in the black box , nothing found. jumped the terminals on the solenoid and it started, also wipers only working on one speed and windows not working and abs light on. Anybody got any ideas.. Or should I just get it put on the diagnostics? Not that easy here where I am at the moment here in portugal.

I would go for a diagnostics as there's just to many things that have failed to work out what the problem is....
