nas82 is an unknown quantity at this point
Hi guys

I took my car to a local BMW dealership today to find out why my car was stuck in limp mode or third gear.

They informed me that 1) the oxygen sensor needs replacing and 2) i need to replace the solenoid in the transmission.

I am by no means a mechanic, but i do know the basics.

The dealer said i shouldn't even fix the solenoid and just get a new transmission, because often times after resealing the transmission, it will leak.

But he did say that would fix my trans program issue.

What do you guys think?
