Help,is This A Deal?

I just test drove a 1998 540i 6 speed this morning. Mileage = 82K and it has sport package, built in front and rear radar detectors, navigation, built in phone and winter package. They are asking $17,900 -- is it a deal?

Based upon what I've seen on ebay, autotrader, cars.com etc it seems like a fair price. Guidance from all of you would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that is a great deal. I have a 1998 528i sport package with 70000 miles when bought. Paid $16,500. No Nav, No radar, no phone, nowinter package and not a 540. I think its worth it.

Looks like a very good deal to me.

I bought my 1999 528i with the Sports Package with 83K miles, Black/Black for 18K.

You might want to keep on shopping. Be patient and you'll find the right one for you and for the right price as well.

seems like a great deal, its a 540! although i would still try to bargain with the seller, give it a shot, maybe youll save more
