Help Chip? 540

I just got a 98 540 6speed the other day. I put the 19" Hamann rims along with the cat-back exhaust... I'm working currently on the body and such but im thinking to put some work on the engine once im done. I was thinking to put a chip but would that make a much difference on a V8? If so whats a good chip that you guys recommend? Besides the chip what else do I gotta put in to feel the power? When I chipped my 2.7T S4 I felt a huge difference, but having a V8 I dont know if its worth doing it?

Personally, I'm just not a fan of aftermarket chips. They can increase performance a bit; I don't think they're worth the bother.

I would recommend Eric Conforti or Dinan Chips/software upgrades.
