Help Can't find Fuse 75 & 76 on my E39 I have a 2002 530i and the blower motor will not turn off. I was in the car and couldnt' get it to turn off while the car was running, it stayed on when I turned off the car, and when I went out in the morning the battery was dead.
I assume then that the normal 16 minute cycling of the blower once the car turned off did not occur, and am hesitant to leave the battery hooked up when I drive the car now. Obviously, unhooking the negative at every stop is not a feasable option, so I'm looking to cut off the blower altogether at least until I can find the root cause of the glitch.
Can anyone tell me where I can find fuse #75 &76? According to my owners manual (don't have a shop manual, where can I get one?) they should be near the fuse block in the glove box. I only see the 1-45 and since 40 amp & 50 amp fuse would be considerably bigger than the 7.5-20 variety, know they're someplace else.
Please help! Thanks in advance!
Any advice on how to fix the root problem would also be appreciated.
