I have a ‘99 528 IT (65K miles). While driving over pot holes (plenty of them in the Manhattan) one would naturally brake to slow the impact. While driving slow over them 10-15 miles, the abs will start to shake the whole steering. It almost looks like the steering goes from left to right very fast and the whole car is shaking. While it happens, the traction control light is not on and it doesn’t blink either. When I release the brake pedal, the shaking stops. I changed my front rotors a while ago for slotted and cross drilled one’s when I had brakes replaced. No cracks on the rotors. Otherwise I have no problems. Any suggestions? It is driving me nuts!
