HELP!! 97 528 questions

I have a 97 528 that i have now replaced the thermostat, well, when we did that, the old radiator was upper hose input was pretty fragile i guess, and it snapped, so we replaced the radiator. Now, when I start it, it idles really rough for a few minutes, then it is fine, and I have some white smoke coming from the exhaust. What have I done to my car, any ideas?

white smoke in the exhaust means you are getting antifreeze into the combustion process somehow. Did you make sure you bled the system properly? Is it just on startup, or all the time? Alot of smoke, or just a little bit?
