My Heat only comes on for a couple of minutes, when I start the car- 525I
Then I have to turn off car and restart, and it only comes back on for about a minute or so, then shuts down again. I replaced the thermostat, because it was overheating. Now it doesn't overheat anymore, but it seems that my climatre control unit is malfunctioning used

I'd bet your heater valve needs replacing. It's getting stuck.
