headunit removal e39

Hello all I am a new member. I own a 2003 530i that I love a lot.Yesterday on the way home from work my stereo stopped. The orange light turned off and the screen went black. It is the stereo with navigation so it has the navi screen/stereo combo. Ive heard the fuse for them is behind the headunit? I pulled the screen down and see what appears to be a din slot on both top corners. Basically what I am asking is how do i remove this screen/unit to check/replace the fuse behind it? cd changer in trunk still works and I checked all related fuses in glove box. all were fine. thanks in advance and please help!! missing my tunes already...

If wires did not be damaged, the problem may be The screen was burned, you may need to change one.
