headlight and taillamp conversions - BMW Forum

hi guys and gals
i am new to the bmw scene. i just got a 98 artic white 528. love the car to death...hahahhaha...but anyways, wanted to know how hard was it to convert the headights and taillights to the newer 01 and above. the bi-xenon headlights, and taillamps. any input is appreciated.

If you already have the zenon lights and you are just wanting to convert to the newer "Angel Eyes" zenon, it's easy and affordable. If you do not currently have zenon, it's a little pricy to convert it. Mine were around $800 for just the halogen but I think the prices have come down a little since 8 months ago.

I had a shop do the work because it was in anyway for the front lip spoiler and rear apron but the instructions didn't look too tuff. The Angel Eyes were my favorite mod.

I have the same question. I already do have xeons, how much would it cost me to do the conversion?

The headlights should be no problem, as stated above. The tails would probably need some modification since your car is a 98 and the tails are form an 01. Unless you mean in the style of 01 tails, which you probably do ... If they sell kits to do that then it should be a direct repalcement and I wouldn't imagine it to be too hard.
