Have you tried installing a new HID system for your OEM E39? I'm planning on installing it but I dont know where to start. I already have an HID KIT but from the looks of it, it looks like the bulb is a clip on bulb and my OEM is a push and turn type of snap on. If you have any info on how to install it, could you let me know? thanks fellaz!
hey definetly go with the hid's. to get the blue color your gonna need to order 12000k as the color and then you need to order the right size like your low beam is H7 so you need .......12000k blue (color) H7 (size)........ and make sure you tell them BMW or they will give you a cheap kit that will give a (low beam) error reading across the dash the hole time your car is on and that makes the bimmer look like a crapper. I had the blue ones on my e34 last year and one bulb went bad so i ordered the 3000k (yellow) for this year (very dramatic color) next i will go to the white 4300k (the brightest) to see how that looks, it's the stock color for BMW. good luck
