HAS ANY ONE MADE THERE E-34 A 5 SPEED

I am wondering if anyone has done it and/or has any info on doing it my torque converter went bad but i would rather make it a 5 speed thanks

hell, id drop in a 6 if i were you, but mmy car naturally is a 5 speed. I cant give any advice, except for the fact that mauals make the car much more fun to drive...

I remember that I had seen some E24's converted from Auto to 5 Speed. I remember that it is possible, but the procedure was not as simple as just changing out the tranny. You need to add a clutch pedal, have to add a manual transmission linkage, actually mount the transmission........ Unless you are very techinally savy, I wouldn't even try, though I have never owned an auto and never will. I will make another post if I find an article, it might be slightly different on your car, but you can sort of see what it entails.
