Green Service Lights?

Hi,

I just purchased a 2002 525i Sport 5M. I saw an earlier post about some green service lights? I was wondering what these are? When i turn on the car i see two green lights but they disappear after several seconds. Am i supposed to always see some green lights?

Im asking b/c i dont know a thing about this car. Im also hearing some kind of clicking noise coming from the passenger side while the car is rolling.

Any help would be great.
