Got the Raptor 35w kit, where should I mount the ballasts?
Ok, the kit is on the way. Where would be the best place to mount the ballasts? And, should I bolt them, zip tie them, attach them with doublesided tape, velcro...which is best? Those are all ways I've seen it done, some don't ound very secure though haha. Thanks guys.
Does the kit come with any kind of mounting hardware? If not, I was able to mount my ballasts underneath the head lights themselves. I was also able to find a random bolt near the headlights where I was able to use the mounting hardware to secure it down.
I used zip-ties to keep all the wires organized and clean (because you will have an additional amount than normal). I'll take photos of what my set up looks like tomorrow.
Sorry Kasei, I forgot to take pictures of where I mounted my ballasts. I'll get to it this afternoon. I have a little project I'm working on right now for my DDE harness.
