| I replaced my fuel filter, (its in the trunk,) and after doing so whenever my tank is above half full I smell gasoline whenever my windows are done or my sunroof open. As summer is nearing this is becomming a big problem. I know the stench only comes as I drive the car, ideling doesnt make it stink, and I know its coming from the trunk. When I was replacing the pump I busted a screw so the lid for the tank in my trunk is not completely sealed. I cant screw it in any tighter though. What can I do make this stench go away? Wet towel over the lid? Put glue everywehre around the seal? I have no idea.
