| Fuel sending unit.. help
my gas gauge is acting up.. when i press the gas it goes down, then when i slow down or it shifts or i press the break it starts to rise up slowly back to normal or close to it.. i took it to a BMW shop "bimmersrus" and they said i need a right and also a left (fuel sending unit).. anyone know how much it would cost for a new one? can it be fixed or do i have to replace the whole part.. because a lot of shops don't bother to try to fix it, they want new replaced items so there is more money in there pocket.
