Hi guys,
i bought 1997 jet black 540i this weekend and i have to tell you i already love that car.
It has some minor flaws, but nothing serious. Like airbag light on all the time and some dead pixels on instrument cluster and radio. And check engine light goes and comes.
As i put all my cash out for the car, i have to wait a little to buy obd2 fault code reader to find out what the check engine means, hope its just o2 sensor.
In coming weeks i will cange (oil mobil 1 full synthetic oil 10W40 or ?),
put new ngk sparkplugs (NGK BKR6EQUP or BKR6EK?),
new airfilter (K&N or ITG? use K&N on my other car, no problems with oil and maf sensor)
Any good experiences with chiptuning? As im using high grade gas anyway, will chip be the way to go and wich one?
That would be it, at least for now
