found some clear oil under car at front any ideas

its clear oil with no smell whell i coudnt smell anything .so i lifted bonet and noticed a wet patch at front right side looks like its comin from just under radiator its a 2001 530i could any 1 help before i take to a garage and get ripped off thanks

Theres only three or 4 fluids that I can think that it would be,
Engine oil (normally has a petrol tint to it)
Power steering fluid
Brake Fluid
AC Compressor?
Are there any pipes or hoses that sit in the vicinity of this leak?
Is it possibly running along a cover or channel section and masking where it actually coming from?
How thick is it?
Any hint of color to it?

its realy thin and clear wat my m8 thinks it could be from radiator coz the other day i put to much water in he thinks it could be that i had a look under today and theres no leak from power steering or brake so will see if theres a loss of water from radiator tommorow i thought it was power steering coz were leak is a pipe from were u put powere steering fluid in goes wat looks like it going in the side of radiator but theres noing coming out ov pipe so will look again under neath tomoz m8 let u no if it is water its got a slippy texture to it?

The Coolant has a slippery feel to it and depending on the water/coolant ratio doesn't evaporate very quickly from a covered concrete surface.

it mite be coolant m8 if u over fill will it come out some were it wasnt that much overfilled but i only noticed some fluid under car after i over filled it and thanks for ur response m8
