colink: The onboard computer in the dash. I thought you meant DME for some reason. It's the 20 button one. Definatley more than four. The trim is tan, I'll check the VIN tomorrow and get you the precise color. If I remember correctly it's the wood trim... I forget what package that comes with, it's been awhile since I've bought one. The only issue that I can see is the drivers side. I can attest to the fact that the seat functions perfectly (when the car is on a jump box) and the leather is in good shape. However the
driver's side window is currently only covered by shrink wrap and plastic sheeting. Not too much water managed to get in but some eventually did. But it looks immaculate aside from the deployed airbag.
If this car has the beige interior with wood trim, I'm definitely interested in center console surround, I think that should have wood on the sides. The door panels if they are not peeling and the wood's in good shape.
Is one of the door panels. I'll sell the panel's individually with everything pictured there (aside from the plastic clips, cant guarentee they'll all survive) for $80 a piece. If you want all four of them I'll sell them as a set for $300 even.
Everything pictured here plus the wood trim piece will be included for $120. Sorry, I'm stealing the shift knob. If you want individual parts, Let me know.
Anything you want from the interior that I missed? Let me know. Here is a set of photos showing the interior. The interior is clean, but it could be cleaner. I'll make sure to clean up all parts before I send them out.
Took some pictures of the mirrors as well. Let me know if you're still interested.
Let me know what you guys want. Whatever's not gone out of this lot will be put on ebay in a week. Please be kind to the pictures. The car isn't exactly detailed as it's been sitting for awhile and it was 10 PM when I took them so I was relying on the flash
I'm still mulling over the door panels. Looking at the center console, is the wood trim to the right of the stereo/OBC part of the center console or separate?
It's really hard to tell on the door panels. The chrome piping on the top of (I think) the rear passenger door looked kinda ragged.
Consider the center wood piece a done deal though.
Worked on getting the door panels off last night. I need to consult the service manual about getting the rear ones out. I'm missing a screw location.
Colink1: the chrome piping between the door panel and the glass is a seperate piece. This means that you can reuse yours if it's in better condition than mine. I took a look at them and it seems that a little chrome polish is all they'd need to shine once again. Once I get them out I'll polish them up and confirm this. Either way I'll include them with the door panels if you so desire. Another note, since JMI want's the black plastic "bucket" for the door handle, the rear drivers side door will not include that piece. If yours is in good condition, you may reuse it. I'll knock something off the price of that panel because of this, so if you're still interested in that I'll work out a new price for ya.
Otherwise, Side mirrors are going to be gone in a few days to HIe34, Still plenty of interior/exterior parts for this car including body panels, body trim, electronics, etc. Please don't hesitate to ask about a specific part. I'll make sure that my price is cheaper than anyone else's. We're trying to strip this car as fast as possible and get it out of my buddy's driveway.
What does the rear decking panel look like, condition-wise. The door handle bucket would not be a deal breaker for me, mine are in great shape. I'll wait for you pictures.
The rear decking I'm going to assume is the carpetlike trim piece behind the backseat where the rear speakers are mounted. I'll have pictures later tonight for you.
Last night we got done with pulling the door panels, side mirrors and most of the wrecked motor.
Unfortunatley, what did not survive was my digital camera. I left it sitting on my toolbox and it got hit with a flying valve cover.
I'm working on securing a replacement camera for the rest of the job. I'll post pictures of parts as soon as I find a workable camera. I should have those pictures for you guys by the beginning of next week.
Also, the rear decking panel is in great shape, I just have to figure out how to remove it.
M,
Good to hear about the door panels and the your success in pulling major parts. As for me, don't fret too much over the rear deck panel. I think you need to pull the rear seat backs to get the decking out completely. If you can't get to it, no biggie. I leaning towards re-doing mine by pulling the fabric and replacing it with a matching vinyl or leather. You can shoot me shots of the door panels when you can to my email.
Thanks for all the effort you've put in to secure these parts.
