revronrowl n00b Join Date: Mar 2006 Car: Posts: 16 Photos:	Foggy Mountain Headlights Breakdown I've been reading as many posts as possible regarding the foggy/smokey/pitted/scratched problem with the headlights on Bimmers. I have the same problem on my recently purchased 98 528i. Any new advice on how to solve this problem? I've used Autozone's lens repair kit ( $12) with the drill attachment but it was a waste of $. I'm close to going the 3000 grit sandpaper route with some plastic polish. I'm also checking into new headlights, by the way, what does HID or DDE stand for? Anyway... looking for someone who's had some pretty good results getting the lens to improve. Thanks, Rev
