ghead My 520i has flooded again after a short start up, it wont start now. I've taken the plugs out will this be enough to make the unburned petrol evaporate any tips welcome!

Whats causing it to flood in the first place though?

Its a common fault of the E39 if you start it up and move the vehicle a few yards then switch off the fuel injected does not burn off causing it to flood when trying to start up again. Then its a nightmare to start up once this has happened.
