Fault Codes P0170,1073,P1188,P1189, Replaced all 4 O2's and Now only Getting P0170-73
I have been dealing with Fault Codes P0170,1073,P1188,P1189, Replaced all 4 O2's and Now only Getting P0170-P0173 only. I checked for Air and Vacuum leaks and dont think I have any, cleaned and checked MAF and is working ok. engine runs excellent and powerful, just need to fix the problem so i can get rid of the MIL and get the emissions passed. Car always had plugs replaced at 30-50k, always used mobile 1 fully synthetic 5-30, and last two changes 10-30. Any Advice greatly needed. Please.. I have a sport package 99 528i 217k
Can anyone give me the normal reading for the e39 Live data and ranges I should be getting on the car, im trying to figure out what else could be causing these codes.
not sure what the ranges are for the MAF but according to bentley manual they should be around 0.5, sometimes im getting 0.63, 0.68, 0.76, at idle, when driving it goes 1.00 and above all the way past 3.0+, now i checked the air filter housing and boots and have noticed some cracks that have not penatrated the rubber in the boots, also i have noticed two holes on the bottom side wall of the filter houseing, but they look like vent holes that were not made from the plastic going bad, can anyone eleborate on this please.. Thanks Dabsy for helping. these codes are driving me nuts.. i have erased the codes again and now only p1188 and p1189 are coming on..
