Fault Codes

Hy Guys,
I have a 2001 530d. I was wondering how to display the fault codes and what do they mean. Has anyone got any info on this?

Would it diagnose which sensor in my rear bumper which is stopping my PDC from working?

Thanks in advance

you will need a scanner/ code reader to display fault codes
