Can the engine from a 1993-1995 325i be put in a 1995 525iA. I have heard that both that it can and cant be done. Anyone have any actual experience putting the engine from a 325 w/VANOS in a 525 w/VANOS. In theory I should be able to take the block and head from the 325 and put the accessories from the 525 ie AC, Starter, Alternator, Manifold on it. I would think it would be a simple swap the block and head from the 325 and install the accessories from the 525. Any ideas, recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You
