You guys have probably seen me post that I got a new car. I bought the car off my grandfather thinking I could make it last me a couple years but it has been nothing but problem after problem. Today, I moved the car from the back yard to the front yard. Under the car was alot of burnt oil everywhere. Then, I parked it in the front yard at an angle in the driveway. I left it running and got out and found burnt oil being thrown out of the exhaust. I checked the oil and its half gone. I parked the car and left it till I figure out what to do. Im not gonna install my new cd player because I dont know if Im going to end up keeping it. My grandfather told me he adds oil every 2 weeks but I never knew it was this bad. What do you think is wrong with the egnine? Does it have to be completely rebuilt? It seems like everytime I have something fixed something else goes bad. I know the car has been in alot of accidents.
I also forgot to mention, The spark plugs were not changed for a while. I changed them out with some new bosch platinum 2's. The old ones were rusted and black. The boot that goes on the coils are in bad shape. Some of them are torn a bit. .I did see some oil or some sort of residue on the boots.
Depends if you do it yourself or if you have it done. if you have it done it will be in the 1000's yourself=parts. did you test drive it before driving it? did you kno the problem was that bad when you bought it?
