ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION! Please help...

2006 525i

I've had a electrical malfunction come up on the i-drive. Took it in to a independant BMW shop and they replaced the battery and the light system module. 2 days later it pop'd up again. Any ideas on what i should do. I hear that i could spend a fortune finding the problem. Is there a process that i can do myself to cut down on costs?

I live in the Denver, Co area so if you know a really good person that is an electrical person that could help that would also be a great help.

Thanks

Phil

Not much you can do on your own. Try taking it back to the same shop and see if they will donate some diagnosis time since their initial repairs didnt fix the problem. If they can not fix it then dealer is only answer.
Best,

DT
