Hi.
My name is Feodor. I from Kazakhstan.
At me here such question:
Who was engaged in engine M51 E34 525 TDS tuning? The electric part interests.
WITHOUT change in software DDE.

I read about "electric" tuning at Belarus forum of the BMW. "Terminators" in DDE are disconnected. Joins the button in salon when it is necessary. Capacity increases to 180.p.s
There are at whom ideas on this theme? Can did the such? smile

If by terminator you mean the rev limiter, there would be no point in doing that with no changes in the main software. And it would not increase output at all.

Idea just in that to remove factory terminators in DDE. Which are responsible for ecology of emissions. It becomes not on always and when it is necessary.

As much help as I can; here in the US, we have very few diesels. There is almost no diesel tuning done here at all.

YouTube - BMW 525 TDS E39 CHIP 0-100 SVO plenty of these vids on 'you tube' showing performance attained,all good but remember the enemy of the e34 tds is heat,the cooling system must be in top order or the engine will over heat and expire in very short order.Most chip tuning in uk involves either a remap or a box that plugs in wiring from injector pump and alters ecu signals to give desired results.In normal everyday driving mpg is actually better by around 20% over stock.

The chip is unnecessary me... What for?
I need another. Without software change!!!!

I think what you are looking for is an emissions control bypass, operated by an in car switch.

At replacement of the software the engine works constantly in the forced mode. The raised expense of fuel, deterioration of the engine...
To include the button when it is necessary it is the best variant.

I know that it is necessary to solder in the resistor 7-10 kOm in block DDE. But the exact scheme at me is not present... Therefore I ask the help. There Can be who knows the exact scheme.
