| E61 lost power!
I have an E61 from 2004. Few days ago i wanted to go to work and while i was driveing, i felt that there is a lot of power gone from my car. there is no smoke comeing and everything seems to work fine, except when rpm reaches 2000 it starts to go on reallly slowly. there is also no signallights flashing on the dashboard. any idea what can be wrong? The acceleration lasts with every gear up to ap. 1800rpm and then it goes on like a snail. but when i free the clutch, rpm goes up till the limiter as it normally would do....oh, and it's a diesel...
hope it is not the fault of the particule filter...or if it is, any ideas how to skip of bying new one but car stays to fit also in every-year checks? |
